User guide - Pick On Order

With Pick On Order you pick an outgoing order directly from stock, line by line. Each pick becomes a line on the delivery.

Step by step

1. Choose Task (screen Pick On Order - Choose Task)

The orders are sorted with urgent orders first, then by date. Tap an order or scan its number. F2 Filter appears when your task groups contain more than one base type. When a scanned number matches several orders, the Search Task screen lets you choose. When someone else is already working on the order, you can team up. When the delivery has notes, the Details screen shows them first.

2. Choose Line (screen Pick On Order - Choose Line)

The open order lines are shown with their open quantity. Tap a line; scanning is not possible on this screen. When the line has notes, the Line Details screen shows them first.

  • F4 Skip: skip the selected line (after confirmation).

  • F3 Finish: finish the order early, after the first pick.

  • F6 Invert Sorting: reverse the order of the lines.

3. Location (screen Pick On Order - Bins)

The application looks up locations with free stock and suggests one. Scan the location you pick from. F2 Next shows the next suggestion. When there is no free stock, the Inventory Error screen appears and you go back to step 2. Items that are not kept in stock skip this step.

4. Confirm Item (screen Pick On Order - Confirm Item)

Scan the item barcode. This screen appears for stock items with a barcode. F2 Skip skips the confirmation, unless confirmation is mandatory.

5. Quantity, batch or serial number

  • Pick On Order - Quantity: pick the suggested quantity, up to the open quantity.

  • Pick On Order - Batches: scan a batch on the location, then enter the quantity or scan the outbound serial numbers.

  • Pick On Order - Serials: scan a serial number on the location; each scan is one piece.

  • Pick On Order - Serials Outbound: scan the serial numbers that are registered on delivery; each scan is one piece.

When the order line has preferred batches or serial numbers, only those are suggested.

6. Save pick

The pick is added to the delivery. When a report is set up, you can print a label. When the location still has stock for the line, you stay on step 5; when the location is empty, you go to step 3; when the line is done, you go back to step 2.

7. Finished (screen Pick On Order - Finished)

When the delivery is complete, the application can show the details again and print the delivery. Ok takes you back to step 1.
