Install Microsoft .Net Framework 4.7.2 (of higher) and Visual studio C++ 2012/2013/2015 redistributable (64bit) if not already installed on all systems where RetailPro components will be installed. |
All systems means SAP server (addon), RetailPro server, Branchserver and client where Point of Sale (POS). will be used. A system reboot might be needed after installation! |

Install SAP Business One DI-API 64 bits version (installation files can be found in SAP Business One’s B1_SHR or B1_SHF shared folder. Use the “DIAPI.x64” folder (or DIAPI when using 10.0 version)). This step can be skipped when SAP Business One Client (64 bits) is already installed. |

Install Crystal Reports Runtime 64 bits version (installation files can be found in SAP Business One’s B1_SHR or B1_SHF shared folder. Use the CRRuntime folder in “Client.x64” (or “Client” when using 10.0)). This step can be skipped when SAP Business One Client (64 bits) is already installed.

Install the MS SQL ODBC driver (corresponding to the Microsoft SQL Server version) or SAP HANA driver. This step can be skipped when SAP Business One Client (64 bits) is already installed. |
When using MS SQL 2012 or earlier, the corresponding SQL Native Client must be installed instead of ODBC driver. |

Make sure to have access to a database User with sufficient authorizations Create (and manage) it's own database and to maintain (create, alter or drop (the latter only for own created)) objects in the SAP Business One company database(s) it is going to connect to. This user also needs authorization to read and alter (the latter again only for own created objects such as tables and user defined fields) data in this database's tables. |
The user also needs Read access to the SBO-COMMON database when connecting via DI-API. |
