Installing a new Proof of Delivery App Instance
A valid license is required for the installation of Proof of Delivery. Ensure that it is correctly linked in the B1 ProSuite Software Platform before the installation is started.

1 | Start the B1ProSuite Software Platform application if it has not yet started and login if needed. | |
2 | Navigate to Packages > Applications. | |
3 | Click (in lower right corner) on “New”. ![]() | |
4 | In Service tab, select packet ProofOfDelivery App - xx.xx.x.x. | |
5 | Enter a desired "Tag" to categorize the different applications (for example TEST or PRODUCTION). | |
6 | "Namespace" can be left empty. This will not be used. | |
7 | Leave the "Hana" field unchecked since Proof of Delivery App only support SQL Server database platforms. | |
8 | Enter the database server address behind "Server". | |
9 | Specify the name of the Proof of Delivery Application database to which the service should be linked in "Database" field. |
If the specified database does not exist, it will be created during setup. Do not enter the SAP Business One database name here! A separate and dedicated database must be created for the Proof of Delivery Application. |
10 | Enter the Database server login data in "User" and "Password" fields. | |
11 | If desired, select a time when the Application should be restarted automatically. If this is set up, make sure that this is outside of business hours. | |
12 | Select a "SAPUI5 Version" when this specific version is to be used. If left blank, the highest available version is used. |
Proof of Delivery requires the use of a specific range of SAPUI5 framework. Use version from 1.73.x range. |
13 | Select the “Startup type” to indicate whether the application should be started automatically when the B1ProSuite Software Platform service is started. | |
14 | In IP tab, select which IP port this "service" should use. ![]() |
In order to get Estimated Time of Arrival of a Route working, an SSL connection is required. Make sure to create firewall rules to accept access to this port (and webserver port). |
15 | In License tab. Assign an available license. |
Check the B1ProSuite Software Platform installation manual for instructions on obtaining (temporary) licenses. |
16 | Click “Add” to start installation process. |
