Changing line amount

Every line has a line amount. Line amount is a decimal value if this is supported by the item. Default values however start with 1 and counts with 1.

Line amount can be changed in the following scenario’s:

• You added a new item. Item is added to transaction with amount 1.

• You added an item which is already in the transaction (and no changes were made to this line). The existing item line amount is updated and increased 1.

• Line amount is changed by pressing - or + button on transaction line. Amount is increased or decreased by value 1.

• Same goes for return lines. However, amount is positive but calculated negative so line total will show negative and in red color to indicate a return transaction line). When increasing amount to let’s say 2, a -2 factor is calculated to item price.

• You can also change transaction line amount by clicking on the transaction line amount field. You can now enter a new number (or decimal). Any malformed input will be ignored.

• It is also possible to change the line amount from the Item Details Page (if opened from the transaction line).
